Any way, for some reason I decided to give it a try. 1. The tittle was super catchy.. 2. My sister mentioned that it was relevant to the IA Guess what? She was totally right! To begin with I really recommend this video to anyone in the IA and for those who aren't then you'll be jealous of not being part of the best program. Any way to all of you who are really lazy and don't really want to watch it, it's worth knowing about. Who is Ken Robinson? Ken Robinson calls himself a "creativity expert" who analyzes child behavior and the distinct learning methods. What is this Video about? In the Ted Talk, Ken Robinson shares with us his preoccupation with the learning systems that are currently being used. Why ? He beliefs that children are being trained for technical jobs that already exist. Though these children will start working in later years. We are unable to predict what the future is going to bring and the new jobs and needs that are going to appear later on. "All kids have tremendous talents, but we squander them" he says. He mentions that schools are focusing on only one type of learning and are creating a stereotype for one type of intelligence, killing other children's sensibility and strengths in other areas. He says: " Creativity now in education is as important as literacy and we should treat it with the same statues". He shares, that children have the most sense of creativity and if it is not nurtured, and given the statues that it deserves then we are killing it. Kids are the ones who are more capable of finding solutions because they carry more confidence, thats why schools need to learn to embrace and enrich creativity. I have never been able to be as happy and feel as lucky to be able to form in a program like the IA. I am constantly graceful that I am not stuck in a classroom "listening" to constant lectures about things that I will clearly not remember in a an hour. The IA is a perfect example of a school program that is not only thinking of the present but rather, of the future. I feel lucky to be part of this necessary change. " Im not saying that being wrong is being creative, but if your not ready to be wrong then you won't be able to create anything" -ken robinson

I found the introduction to your post this week entertaining. Your discussion of how you feel about the IA and how you felt about watching the video were incredibly honest and descriptive. As Oscar mentions, it is like we can hear you talking throughout your post with lines such as, "Guess what? She was totally right!"
